We are looking for someone who wants to work with hydraulics in our production facilities to ensure high and safe operational availability. Together with engaged colleagues, your mission is to deliver and develop a qualitative hydraulic maintenance for a more efficient production at SSAB in Luleå.

About the position

Our group works with maintenance in hydraulics and pneumatics, and we are now looking for a new employee who wants to specialize in hydraulics in our production facilities. Safety is always our highest priority, and your work will be carried out according to our established routines for safety, health, and environment.

Your main responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic equipment according to established routines.
  • Conduct rounds according to a list and report the status of equipment.
  • Replace and maintain hydraulic components to ensure operational reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems as needed.
  • Participate in root cause analyses to identify and address problems.
  • Contribute to and participate in improvement efforts to increase efficiency and safety.
  • Document work efforts digitally in the maintenance system.

About you

  • You have a strong interest in technology and mechanics, as well as a curiosity and drive to learn new things.

  • You are structured and enjoy challenges.
  • You are a team player who enjoys working in a team as well as independently.
  • You are flexible, meticulous, and see the value of preventive work.
  • Comfortable using computers to manage digital documentation in our maintenance system.
  • You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Meritorious: experience and knowledge of component maintenance in hydraulics and pneumatics, reading schematics, and various hydraulic systems, but experience from technical areas outside hydraulics is also welcome.
