We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a trained physician with a Swedish medical license and proficiency in Swedish at C1 level. Active research, as well as a doctoral degree, is an advantage.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are empathetic, clear, and flexible with good collaboration skills. We appreciate your ability to see the bigger picture and consider the broader perspective.

What you will work with

You will establish a residency plan together with your supervisor, outlining the structure of your residency; clinical placements, external rotations, etc. Your residency will begin with Internal Medicine, and you will then continue your training with a focus on dual specialization or a stroke profile. From the start of your residency, you will be part of the section you will work in going forward. The residency begins with a
longer placement in the various positions of your own section.

The Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic conducts extensive activities in Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, PAVA/PRT, Hematology, Nephrology, and stroke care. The general internal medicine assignments are shared between the sections. We also have a close collaboration with the Heart Care Clinic, with which we share on-call duties.

In addition to working in your own section, you will work in the general positions of internal medicine - AVP and the emergency department, as well as in the various wards. On-call duties are included in the position.

Supervision of medical students and residents is also part of your duties. As a specialist in Internal Medicine, you will be part of the backup on-call line.

Currently, about 30 specialists and 13 residents work in Internal Medicine/Geriatrics, distributed across the various sections.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, with start date according to agreement.
Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
