We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, English, and additional languages. It is an advantage if you have contact nurse training and previous experience in urological care, oncological care, or outpatient work.

This is what you will work with

The urology clinic is located at the Joint Reception at Gällivare Hospital and the area of General Surgery/Urology. The clinic functions as a regional clinic in Norrbotten. Outpatient services in urology are provided at all hospitals. You will work together with other nurses and other professionals and be responsible for urological patients. As a contact nurse, you have a central role that includes both practical and administrative work. Other outpatient work is also included in the position.
Typical tasks include:

• Be the contact nurse for patients with prostate cancer
• Telephone advice
• Appointment scheduling
• Coordination between the patient and other parties
• Own clinic, perform prescribed treatments
• Handling test results
• Develop and organize the work of the contact nurse

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday - Friday. Start date is according to agreement.
Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
