Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in this position, you would play a central role in ensuring that care recipients receive the care they need. You would work independently but also in close collaboration with a team of nursing assistants, rehabilitation teams, and doctors, as well as network with other nurses in the municipality. With us, you have time to follow and see the whole person!

Your job responsibilities would include:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, and follow-up of health and medical care interventions.
• Medication management and specific nursing care.
• Documentation of care interventions.
• Support and guidance to nursing staff.
• Care of individuals in palliative phase, where you create good care during life's last time for both the patient and their relatives.

Qualifications

Here are some of the most important requirements and wishes for the position:

• Licensed nurse: Preferably with further education in elderly care.
• Experience: Experience working within social services is an advantage.
• Personal qualities: We are looking for someone who enjoys development, sees opportunities and solutions, has a good approach, is flexible, and has good planning and collaboration skills.
• Driver's license: A valid B driver's license is required.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

What do you get?

We offer a permanent position at one of our special accommodations for the elderly. We work about 2 out of 10 weekends and have 5 weekday evenings over ten weeks, the remaining time you work during the day at your accommodation. We work in teams at each house during the day and in the evenings and weekends, you meet and collaborate with your colleagues from the entire municipality. We are a fun group that cares about each other's work environment and we offer a good introduction. Start date according to agreement.
