Fluxen's day activity is a daily operation according to SoL aimed at providing participants with social interaction, structure, and meaningful content in their daily lives, as well as providing temporary relief for relatives. The activities of the day activity are designed to stimulate physical activity and to maintain the functions required to carry out daily life activities. Day activity is an assessed assistance effort.

Our goal at the day activity is to support participants in utilizing their resources and abilities. This can be achieved through activities such as walks, baking/cooking, singing, gardening, individual training/activities, where we also place great importance on the participants' own wishes whenever possible. We work based on the social services' values for elderly care, which means that everyone should be able to live a dignified life and feel well-being.

Job Responsibilities

The approach to participants is of great importance, and we place great emphasis on this. As an occupational therapist, it is important that you feel secure in your professional role and enjoy working with elderly people.

The job responsibilities include, together with the work team, having overall responsibility for planning activities related to participants' wishes, abilities, and needs on an annual, weekly, and daily basis. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the implementation of planned activities. The work also includes assessing activity ability, home visits, advice, and support for relatives.

There is constantly ongoing development work in the organization, and our hope is that you will take a leading role in the development work together with us.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. We would like you to have experience in similar operations. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We want you to be self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks, be attentive and relationship-building in your meetings with participants and their relatives, have good empathetic ability, a good approach, and good collaboration skills, be flexible and innovative, and see opportunities.

We offer you a temporary employment from 2025-03-24 to 2026-08-31.
