About the client

This is a 15-year-old girl who loves music and enjoys going out for activities. She needs assistance with basic needs such as personal hygiene, daily chores, and communication. The client can speak but also uses visual support. The client is ambulatory.

She lives at home with her family and is at school during the day. The home is located where there are good bus connections.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant, you will be part of the client’s daily life as an extended arm so that she can live a life just like everyone else. You should be able to think outside the box and see all possibilities instead of limitations.

You will assist with all basic needs and participate in activities. You need to come up with ideas and be proactive while also being able to read the client’s cues.

The client’s life includes fun activities where you will accompany her on swimming and biking trips, so it is important that you are a good swimmer.

About the position

The workplace is in the client’s home as well as wherever the client is. Working hours are distributed throughout all days of the week and all hours of the day.

We are looking for staff for a position of about 63% as well as substitutes as needed.

Who is suitable for the position? Who are we looking for?

Experience with similar tasks/education can be an advantage, but the most important factor is personal chemistry.

It is a merit if you have experience with visual support and NPF.
