About the job

As a preschool assistant, you contribute to ensuring that the daily operations at the preschool run smoothly and that care and daily educational work are based on children's participation and influence. Together with other colleagues at the preschool, you help create a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for each child and for the entire group of children. You participate in the pedagogical development work and the pedagogical documentation according to the preschool curriculum. You are engaged and actively participate in planning and evaluating the work. The collaboration with guardians is based on trust, with the child's best interests in focus.

Qualifications

You should have a preschool assistant education or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer. You have experience working as a preschool assistant, are accustomed to documenting, and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Previous experience in helping to build the educational environment and an understanding of its significance for children's development and learning is considered an advantage.
