The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is an outpatient clinic at a specialist level, which is part of a regional clinic. Our clinic is responsible for children and adolescents aged 0-18 within the catchment area of Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, and Pajala.

We are looking for

We are looking for someone who is a qualified social worker. We prefer that you have previously worked in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) or are a licensed health and medical care curator. It is also advantageous if you have further education or experience working in social services. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We strive for employees to have knowledge of our minority population and value if you speak any of the area's minority languages such as Sami, Meänkieli, or Finnish.

We are looking for someone who sees the child, but also the family, the network, and the context as possible resources and sees respectful interaction as a central part of the care contact. We work cross-professionally, in close collaboration with the child and family where cooperation with healthcare neighbors and social services is often important. Great importance is placed on personal qualities.

What you will work with

The work at the clinic involves planned and acute activities. You are part of the team during acute assessments, new visits/assessments, and treatment.

We who work here are social workers, psychologists, nurses, child and adolescent psychiatrists, clinic assistants, and secretaries. We have a full-time manager. Several of us have extensive experience in systemic network work.

Your introduction will be tailored to your previous knowledge and experience. With us, you will receive guidance and professional development based on the needs of the organization. We are a regional clinic which means collaboration with other clinics and regional units in Norrbotten. We want to continue to develop together and your initiatives and skills will be another important contribution.

Information about the position

The position is permanent and full-time. Working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
