Guiding and encouraging is a significant part of the job, and experience with autism is an asset.

Our female client with an autism diagnosis is in need of staff; we are currently looking for someone who can work during a regular staff member's sick leave in January -25. You will undergo training in December and will work during overlaps as well as on an as-needed basis. This job is likely to continue in some form after January.

The client exhibits clear self-harming behavior that affects herself and others, so it is important that you, as an assistant, can apply a low-affect approach. Clarity and maintaining structure in her daily life are therefore essential. Her speech is limited, and as an assistant, you will work with visual support. No healthcare education is required, but a lot of patience is needed!

The client lives in her own apartment in Gammelstad and spends her days with her assistant at a day activity center.

As an applicant, you should be calm and secure in yourself, have a structured work approach, and be attentive. We prefer that you can work both in a team and independently.

The client is active in many different ways, so it is very positive if you have personal interests in outings, walks, swimming at the pool, crafts, singing, and playing games.

The work takes place every day of the year, and the working hours vary between day, evening, and night (sleeping night).

Requirements:

- You speak and understand the Swedish language at a good level.

- Only female applicants.

- You can provide a police record extract. (This can be easily ordered from the police's website)
