Job Responsibilities

You play a central role in the care and support of the care recipients. The work is based on individual needs, care plans, and the organization's guidelines and goals. Your tasks include assisting care recipients with things they cannot manage on their own, such as hygiene, medication, social interaction, and meals.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, preferably with experience working with the elderly or other equivalent qualifications that the employer considers comparable. You should have good communication skills and be able to read and write in Swedish. We see that you are flexible, take responsibility and initiative in your work, and have good collaboration skills. Since you work with people, a good attitude, empathy, and a service-oriented approach are also important. Personal suitability is highly valued.

More about the positions

The positions are permanent full-time but with the possibility to work part-time. Scheduled working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. Start date as soon as possible or as agreed. About the workplace

The Social Services is one of the municipality's eight departments. Our common mission is to create welfare and sustainable community development. Together with the residents of Piteå, businesses, and associations, we are developing Piteå into an even better place to live, work, and thrive.

Berggården's special accommodation for the elderly is centrally located in Piteå. The accommodation has 60 places distributed across four departments. We are about 50 employees who have a good collaboration and atmosphere. Together we work to provide the residents with the support they need based on their individual needs.
