Business Description

Savo is part of the Gällivare municipality's labor market unit, whose primary mission is to help people outside the regular labor market increase their chances of obtaining employment in the open labor market. Savo offers meaningful and developmental work to people with various disabilities, who have been referred to Savo through LSS decisions from the social administration. We support individuals in performing the tasks available and strive to find tasks and workplaces based on the individual's will, interests, and resources.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a supervisor at Savo, you will work closely with people with various disabilities and guide them by verbally and practically conveying how tasks can be performed. You will be involved in the regular work both in our workshop and with our external customers. An important part of the job is some documentation and regularly following up and evaluating the users' development. You will collaborate with caseworkers in social services and, when applicable, the user's representative. You will also have contact with the customers we provide services to and, if necessary, create new customer contacts.

Qualifications

You have at least a high school education, and it is a plus if you have some form of pedagogical training or experience in the educational field. You have experience and interest in working with people from diverse backgrounds and with varying physical and mental limitations. You have some computer skills and are proficient in the Office suite. You have a B driver's license. You are proactive, innovative, and solution-focused. You can work both independently and in a team. You are perceived as a calm and secure person and have a natural ability to handle people with various disabilities. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. The job includes some physically demanding tasks.
