Inre Kraft is now looking for an assistant for our male client in Central Luleå. The position is a permanent part-time role at 70% with a start date of December 1, 2024.

The client is a man in his 70s who has previously had a stroke and has aphasia. He lacks the ability to express himself verbally but can communicate his wishes in other ways. He is cheerful and wants to lead an active life. His interests include attending hockey/basketball games, watching sports on TV, listening to live music, enjoying home-cooked meals, and more.

We seek calm and secure individuals who can be both proactive and adaptable. Experience in care is preferred, and an understanding of the importance of daily rehabilitation and preventive care is essential.

You should be able to assist with daily tasks, plan and execute activities, and be the central figure in helping someone in a vulnerable situation. Help improve his quality of life when he cannot take the initiative himself.

You should be able to motivate the client to engage in activities, so being active and enjoying walks is important. We also appreciate interests such as crossword puzzles, sudoku, and reading that stimulate the brain.

About the position: Working hours are scheduled from 08:00-15:00, 15:00-21:00, and 21:00-08:00, including weekdays and weekends.

Requirements: You must speak and understand Swedish at a good level. You need a police record extract (which can be easily ordered from the police's website). References from previous jobs (to be provided after the interview).
