Job Description: Project Coordinator for Folkets Hus Hammarkullen's Youth Council (RÅ)

Hammarkullen is a district in Gothenburg with a rich cultural life, strong community, and solidarity. At the same time, the area is characterized by growing child poverty and economic disparities that require greater collaboration between the non-profit sector, engaged citizens, the public sector, and business to create equal opportunities for increased participation in society. Folkets Hus Hammarkullen plays an important role in this work and is currently in the midst of an exciting restart as a citizen-driven and open meeting place for democracy, community, innovation, culture, and education.

Folkets Hus Hammarkullen is a vibrant meeting place that is passionate about promoting youth participation and empowerment. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to lead and coordinate our newly established Youth Council, Råd för Unga (RÅ).

Responsibilities: You will be part of a small team working closely with the local area. As Project Coordinator for Råd för Unga (RÅ), you will be responsible for driving and developing the project according to the overall goals. Your main responsibilities will include:

· In consultation with the manager, develop the various phases of the project.

· Collaborate with various partners and other stakeholders.

· Establish and develop Råd för Unga (RÅ) with a focus on youth participation.

· Plan, implement, and evaluate relevant leisure and cultural programs for youth at Folkets Hus Hammarkullen and in the local area.

· Recruit and engage members for RÅ and promote their skills development.

· Strengthen local collaboration regarding youth participation and influence in practice through method development.

· Conduct thorough follow-up and evaluation of the project's various phases and activities to ensure goal achievement.

Qualifications:

· Experience in project management

· Good experience working with youth target groups.

· Strong commitment to youth participation and empowerment.

· Good communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders.

· Good knowledge of Hammarkullen as a residential area, broad network within both the association sector and municipal actors in the area.

· Experience in organizing and implementing cultural programs and leisure activities.

· Good experience in documentation and follow-up work.

· Higher education in a relevant field.

Employment Conditions:

· Fixed-term employment at Folkets Hus Hammarkullen, duration 1 year.

· Goal-oriented working hours, work during weekends and evenings is a requirement.

· Salary according to agreement and collective agreement with Fremia.
