The Social Services Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and includes elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

At Elementvägen, we offer daily activities for people with various disabilities. We work in different groups where participants are offered activities, indoors and outdoors, based on each individual's conditions. The goal is to create conditions for individual growth through activity and community.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, your main task is to provide individual support based on the needs and conditions of the individuals. You will work both in groups and independently in collaboration with your colleagues focusing on support and stimulation. The role also includes ongoing documentation, creating implementation plans, medication delegation, and care tasks based on the participant's support needs. There is a significant need for care among our participants, and there are many transfers and heavy tasks involved.

Working hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday. Employment rate 100%

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position:

• Trained support assistant or other education that the employer can assess as equivalent.
• Work experience from similar operations.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of low-arousal work, clear pedagogical methods, alternative and augmentative communication, epileptic seizures, and other convulsions, as well as a creative interest.

As a person, you have a good approach and show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role, while basing your work on everyone's equal value. You stay updated through environmental monitoring and regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your operations. You can overview your own area of responsibility and place the significance of your own operations in a larger context, and you show interest in and collaborate on overarching issues to create added value. Additionally, it is important that you have the ability to act independently based on what the situation requires and to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment.

As a permanent and temporary employee in the city of Mölndal, you will receive compensation for exercise and other wellness activities equivalent to 2000 kronor per year.
