Personal Assistant Temporary Position in Hjo Municipality

We are now looking for an engaged and experienced personal assistant for a temporary position in Hjo municipality. As a personal assistant, you will play an important role in supporting and facilitating the daily lives of individuals with disabilities. You will work independently within social services and maintain close contact with both users and colleagues.

Your Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include providing personal care and practical assistance in accordance with individual care plans, participating in meetings, and maintaining good communication with users and their relatives. We are looking for someone with good empathy, understanding, and respect for individuals' diverse needs and wishes.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Minimum high school education, preferably in healthcare and social care
• Good physical ability (as the work can be physically demanding)
• You must be at least 18 years old (AFS 2012:3)
• We consider it an advantage but not a requirement if you have experience as a personal assistant or similar.
• In consideration of the user's wishes for personal integrity, we are seeking a female assistant for this specific placement. Therefore, we will primarily contact female applicants. Job Description

As a personal assistant, you make a difference by providing service, care, support, and assistance of high quality and good reception. The support is personally tailored to the user's needs. The work includes interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) by delegation from a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.

The work is scheduled for day shifts. Between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, there is a sleeping on-call duty, which means you will stay overnight in the user's apartment but in your own room.
