Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• wants to work with an 8-year-old girl living in Mölnlycke
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience in similar work
• has experience with low-arousal approaches
• has experience with alternative communication methods such as visual supports
• can tolerate pets as there is a rabbit at the workplace
• is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience with autism
• have experience working with school-aged children
• have experience with challenging behaviors
• have experience with CVK/PEG

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position and is approximately 75% with the possibility of extension if interested. The job involves working during the day or night on both weekdays and weekends. The temporary position is scheduled from week 26 to week 32. Working hours are 09:00-19:00 and 21:30-09:00 (active night).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
