JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of housing supporter, you contribute to increasing the individual's independence, breaking isolation, and helping the individual regain and maintain their functions and abilities. As a housing supporter, you provide support and opportunities for the individual to practice what they need. This may involve giving advice and support in everyday situations, starting to manage the home or creating functioning routines, getting out of the house to avoid isolation, practicing social situations, administering medication, and more. The interventions should be based on respect for people's self-determination and integrity, while also being combined and balanced with active, outreach, and motivating interventions. Personal care may be included in the job responsibilities, as well as medication management.

As a housing supporter, you can work in a residence with special services or in the individual's ordinary home. You work on a schedule with days, evenings, and weekends, but we also have a group that only works awake nights. Documentation is an important part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work in social services, you need to be secure, stress-resistant, and have personal maturity. You should also be service-oriented and responsive to the individual's needs. You value differences and understand that different backgrounds, cultures, and group affiliations can affect individuals in various ways. You have good collaboration skills and are happy to share your own knowledge and experiences and are open to learning from others. You have empathy in your interactions with other people and have a genuine interest in working with people.

You also need to have:

• Driver's license (B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Delegation for medication management
• Experience in documenting and handling digital tools
• High school care education, post-secondary education, or student.

Introduction: For us, a good introduction is important, so in addition to the introductory days in the operation, we will conduct a joint introduction (half-day) where we will present our operations and prepare you for your upcoming employment. This will take place on 12/6, 13:00-16:00.
