Within the Backup and Storage unit, we are responsible for the implementation of new solutions, continuous improvements, and daily production of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's storage and backup infrastructure.

IT Technician, Storage

In your role as an IT technician, you will work with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's storage products. Together with a group, you will focus on operating, maintaining, and developing the storage and data protection environment of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Our aim is to broaden each individual's skills and tasks, which may lead to a widening of competencies. Your work will involve regular contacts both internally and externally. You will work on improvements and further development of the services that our product area is responsible for.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to drive both your own and the team's work forward. You will be involved in prioritizing upcoming tasks and act as an advisor on technical issues. We believe in strong collaboration where each member contributes to achieving our common goals.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness to work with us.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to reach common goals
• has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• has a systematic and meticulous working approach
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you

• have experience or understanding of large-scale IT operations
• have knowledge of large-scale storage solutions
• have an interest in and knowledge of Windows or Linux networks.

A position, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
