Test Manager/Test Engineer at Sogeti in Sundsvall

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who constantly wants to develop, is positively inclined to learn new things, and wants to stay at the forefront of technology. You must also feel strongly about working as a consultant and be engaged and driven.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD

• have several years of documented work experience in testing/test management, e.g., leading test projects, writing test plans and test cases
• have experience with automated testing
• have experience with SQL
• have a technical post-secondary education or something we assess as equivalent
• have a strong interest in quality assurance
• have the ability to see the big picture
• enjoy working collaboratively in a team
• have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE

• ISTQB certification
• experience with Selenium
• experience with Playwright
• experience with Gherkin
• a strong interest and understanding of system development

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN THE ROLE OF TEST MANAGER AND/OR TESTER

As a test manager, you will work with both strategic and operational questions regarding testability in system development. You need to understand the big picture of which stakeholders need what type of information and how this can reach stakeholders in the most resource-efficient way. To assist you in your toolbox, we have our structural capital tmap.net, which helps you ask the right questions at the right time, for example, related to automation, test environments, and data. With the right conditions, you, together with the entire development team, will create a unified confidence in delivering value to our end users.

As a tester, you will work as a digital investigator with questions related to the system's ability to deliver value. You will analyze documentation, perform tests on the system we are developing, and convey information to provide understanding of the system's behavior so that people can make evidence-based decisions. You will certainly work on enhancing your ability to perform your work with the help of automation in all its forms.
