Lawyer at the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO)
Do you want to make a societal impact and contribute to safer health and social care by developing state supervision and licensing?
The Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) is looking for lawyers with an interest in digitalization issues for the agency's legal unit. The legal unit works with the development, support, and coordination of qualified and cross-agency legal matters. The legal unit plays an important role in IVO's development work for increased uniformity and strengthened legal application.
As a lawyer in the legal unit, you will participate in the agency's efforts to create conditions for uniform and correct legal application and be involved in the agency's development work. This means you must be prepared to work in change and thrive in it. The role involves many points of contact and collaboration, especially with the supervisory departments and the agency's other lawyers.
The legal unit is now seeking legal reinforcement for IVO's digitalization and data protection work. The positions also include other tasks related to the legal unit's area.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Law degree or equivalent legal education
- Current experience of legal work at a government agency, court, or the Government Offices
- Good knowledge of the administrative law framework including information security and data protection (GDPR)
- Practical experience of working with digitalization issues
- Practical experience of impact assessments (GDPR) and/or information security classifications
- Experience of working in a consultative role
You are development-oriented and flexible in your way of collaborating with others. You enjoy working both independently and in teams and are used to taking on different roles depending on what the situation requires. You have a good ability to be clear and structured in your communication, both verbally and in writing. We also see that you have good analytical skills. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to IVO's mission
- Knowledge of security protection legislation
- Previously worked as a Data Protection Officer
- Current experience of working at an agency that works to prevent and combat crime.

The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. The position is full-time with placement in Stockholm. Travel in the service may occur. Start date will be as soon as possible by agreement.
