The Education Administration in Stockholm is Sweden's largest administration with 16,000 employees.
We are responsible for the operation and development of the municipality's 143 primary schools and 26 secondary schools.
The primary school department's mission is to realize the goals and visions of the education board for the city's municipal primary schools and adapted primary schools, based on the Education Act, regulations, curricula, and other regulations.
The activities include school forms such as preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, and after-school care. The primary school department supports and creates conditions for schools to fulfill their missions.
For a two-year project employment, we are now looking for an administrator in violence prevention.

Our workplace is centrally located in Stockholm, opposite the City Hall on Kungsholmen. The work is primarily performed at the office on Hantverkargatan, but also out in schools.
Your role
Main tasks:
- Drive and develop the violence prevention work in the city's schools and within the administration.
- Support schools' development work in the area of human rights.
- Contribute to strengthening schools' democracy and value base missions.
- Identify local needs in schools and provide practical support and guidance based on the situation and needs. This may involve creating contact paths, spreading methodology and materials, providing implementation support, conducting training, and creating forums for dialogue.
- Write service matters, respond to referrals, conduct investigations, and prepare decision-making materials.
- Together with other employees in the primary school department, handle common issues and assignments, both strategically and operationally.
Other tasks may also occur.
The work includes coordination with other departments within the Education Administration, as well as with other administrations and partners.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for someone with an academic university or college education that the employer deems relevant to the work. You should have experience and good competence in planning and leading implementation work as well as competence-enhancing measures for school staff. We prefer that you have experience from work in violence prevention. You have good knowledge of the school's organization and the laws and guidelines that govern the school. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the assignment.
It is important that you can express yourself well in good Swedish, both orally and in writing. You should be able to independently compile data and write texts for service statements and more based on this.
To succeed in the assignment, you need to easily collaborate, create good relationships, and communicate in a accommodating and clear manner. You are a skilled organizer, have good judgment, are attentive, structured, and work solution-focused and independently based on assignments and needs. You can prioritize your agenda even during pressured periods. Through your positive attitude and flexibility, you contribute to a good working environment and help the department achieve its goals.
