Our operations provide legal support to the department for Sickness Insurance. We are in an exciting development phase and therefore welcome you who are driven and courageous in your leadership, inspired by change, and focused on the work environment. You will join a management team that drives and develops the operations together and to a mature and experienced unit.

Close leadership at a distance, change, sustainable workplace As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.

Your unit consists of 16 specialists who work to support the administrative operations within sickness insurance and are located in 11 locations in northern Sweden. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the target images set by the department and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you are a support for the area manager and you are part of the area's management group consisting of 7 unit managers where you contribute with your competence and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

  • have experience working with legal support or similar
  • have experience working in a court or authority
  • have knowledge of social insurance law
  • have experience in operational leadership
  • have experience in leadership in similar operations
  • have experience in coaching leadership and leading through change
  • have experience leading teams
  • have experience leading remotely
  • have experience planning your operations in collaboration with colleagues at a distance
  • have experience in competency-based recruitment within the state.

Other 1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
