Our mission is complex, and we operate both preventively and in damage control. The preventive mission includes providing information, advice, and instructions to residents, as well as training students and employees in the municipality. The Fire and Rescue Service is responsible for supervision matters concerning fire safety and permits and supervision matters concerning the handling of flammable and explosive goods. We conduct fire safety inspections in-house and are responsible for the chimney sweeping performed by contracted entrepreneurs.

The damage control operations include rescue efforts in the event of fires, accidents, releases of hazardous substances, and other incidents. We collaborate with 12 other fire and rescue organizations in the Eastern Svealand Rescue Region.

About the Position

We are looking for a unit manager for the Fire Safety Inspection unit, one of two units in our Prevention Department.
