About the Position

We are now looking for a full-time security guard for our assignment at IKEA Torsvik in Jönköping. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safety, order, and security for our client by performing internal and external patrols, monitoring and conducting access controls, vehicle checks, and visitor management, in accordance with the assignment's requirements. You will be a central part of a team working to maintain security and prevent incidents.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Your daily tasks will include performing patrols and inspections of properties, monitoring and managing security systems and alarms, handling incidents and deviations according to established procedures.

You will report daily events and maintain accurate documentation in collaboration with other security personnel and staff from IKEA.

You will also perform access controls, vehicle checks, and visitor management, and work daily to contribute to a safe and secure working environment for all employees and visitors.

We prefer that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You have the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally and possess a high degree of responsibility and integrity.

It is advantageous if you have some technical knowledge and previous experience in the security industry.

Other requirements for employment at Avarn Security are that you are at least 18 years old, have no criminal record, are drug-free, possess a high school diploma, and have good health and physical fitness, as well as a stable economy.

We are interested in finding the right person for the right place and can therefore train you to become a security guard if we believe you are the right candidate.

The position is located at IKEA Torsvik in Jönköping, Sweden.
