As a security guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting daily life where your task is to enhance our customers' safety and promote a safer environment.

A patrolling security guard works with preventive security. You will be mobile and visit customers in your district/area to check that alarms are activated, windows and doors are closed and locked, electrical equipment is turned off, and that no unauthorized persons are present on the property/area. Patrolling is conducted both indoors and outdoors, mostly at night, and you will work shifts. The job is independent and mobile.

In stationary security, you work at the customer's location. This can involve everything from reception work to patrolling and staffing security centers.

The customer gives us a great deal of trust, and your work as a security guard is important. You contribute every shift to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large, as your work provides preventive protection against crime, improved fire safety, and much more. You will meet all members of the community, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and can make thoughtful decisions.

We operate in many areas but are now looking for more employees to strengthen our staffing for stationary customers, patrolling, and ticket control. We are interested in finding the right person for the right place and can therefore train you to become a security guard if we believe you are the right candidate.

This advertisement is aimed at those interested in a needs-based employment. There will be good opportunities for a summer substitute position.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old and without a criminal record
• Drug-free
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Good health and physical condition
• Organized finances
• Driver's license

Security guard training is an advantage for these positions. Other advantageous qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.
