The role of Health and Safety Manager means that you, together with our workplace coordinator, will further develop Sesol's workplace safety efforts with the goal of becoming Sweden's best and safest employer. The position offers you an exciting and varied everyday life where you have the opportunity to drive and develop the organization's systematic workplace safety work. You will take significant responsibility in a developing role within an innovative industry.

In this role, you will work closely with our operations function, but as HSM, you will have contact with all our departments and support them in health and safety matters. You will belong to our People & Culture department and report to the Chief Human Resources Officer. You will have personnel responsibility for our workplace coordinator based at the headquarters in Jönköping.

Your tasks will include leading, developing, and ensuring the systematic and preventive workplace safety work for the entire Sesol organization, from Uppsala in the north to Malmö in the south. You will be responsible for streamlining and implementing processes within workplace safety and health, as well as supporting the organization with your knowledge. Your work will consist of both operational and strategic tasks, although your focus will be on the strategic work. You will ensure that Sesol complies with legal requirements in the Work Environment Act and related laws and regulations, and ensure that relevant personnel have adequate knowledge and provide training efforts together with our training department when deficiencies are discovered.

We wish you have

  • Relevant university education or vocational training as a Work Environment Engineer
  • More than 3 years of experience in a similar role with both operational and strategic workplace safety work
  • Competence in BAS-U and BAS-P
  • Experience with digital tools in SAM
  • You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
