As the position is a summer temporary job, we wish that you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer in good time with both work and enjoyable activities! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Jönköping, you will become part of a large, close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. It is common to work every other weekend.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers – mainly at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will handle alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with great responsibility. The working hours are mainly at night.

As a stationary guard, your main task is to deliver safety to one of our customers by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. Often you will work at the entrance or reception of a larger company, checking those who pass in and out, but you may also perform patrols and camera surveillance. The tasks vary from customer to customer. You work independently and under your own responsibility, often both day and night.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as a candidate, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
