About the role

As a Quality Engineer, you are an important part of our production operations. You work closely with both production and production technology, ensuring that our products, processes, and working methods meet both internal and external quality requirements. The role also includes tasks related to environmental and occupational health and safety, in collaboration with our HSQE Manager at the corporate level.

You will have a varied and operational role where you make a difference every day – by working with deviation management, continuous improvement, quality controls, documentation, and training.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing quality controls in production, managing deviations and complaints.
• Driving root cause analyses and improvement actions
• Ensuring that measuring equipment is calibrated correctly
• Documenting, following up, and analyzing quality data
• Contributing to issues related to the environment and occupational health and safety
• Participating in audits and liaising with external parties
• Spreading knowledge and understanding of quality – internally and externally

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Previous experience working with quality engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Education in quality – for example, quality engineer, technician, or other relevant post-secondary education
• Knowledge of measurement technology, reading technical drawings, and quality tools such as 5 Why, FMEA, Ishikawa
• Good understanding of quality systems and standards, preferably ISO 9001, 14001, and/or 45001
• Experience working closely with production and driving improvement initiatives

You are pedagogical, communicative, and have a good understanding of how quality affects both customer satisfaction and business results. You enjoy working in a structured manner and are not afraid to take initiative.
