The role of Health and Safety Manager involves you working together with our workplace environment coordinator to further develop Sesol's workplace environment efforts with the goal of becoming Sweden's best and safest employer. The position offers you an exciting and varied everyday life where you have the opportunity to drive and develop the organization's systematic workplace environment work. You will take significant personal responsibility in a developing role in an innovative industry.

In this role, you will work closely with our operations function, but as HSM, you will have contact with all our departments and support them in health and safety matters. You will belong to our People & Culture department and report to the Chief Human Resources Officer. You will have personnel responsibility for our workplace environment coordinator based at the head office in Jönköping.

Your tasks will include leading, developing, and ensuring the systematic and preventive workplace environment work for the entire Sesol organization, from Uppsala in the north to Malmö in the south. You will be responsible for streamlining and implementing processes related to workplace environment and health, as well as supporting the organization with your knowledge. Your work will consist of both operational and strategic tasks, although your focus will be on the strategic work. You will ensure that Sesol complies with legal requirements in the Work Environment Act along with underlying laws and regulations, and ensure that relevant personnel have adequate knowledge and assist with training initiatives in collaboration with our training department when deficiencies are discovered.

We wish you have

  • Relevant university education or vocational training as a Work Environment Engineer
  • More than 3 years of experience in a similar role with both operational and strategic workplace environment work
  • Competence in BAS-U and BAS-P
  • Experience with digital tools within SAM
  • You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
