Job Description

Do you have previous experience in fire and/or rescue work and are interested in developing together with us? Then you might be the one we are looking for. With us, you will be part of an organization where we are all different, but share the same commitment: to create safety in society.

We are now looking for someone to work as a fire protection technician/instructor within the Business Area Fire & Rescue. You will work in a team with extensive expertise in fire protection, and your tasks will include, for example:

• Presenting our services and products and developing our customers' safety work
• Conducting simpler national inventories and reviewing the customer's fire safety work
• Placing orders for products and services with our subcontractors
• Monthly and quarterly testing of fire alarms
• Assisting customers with SBA controls
• Creating conditions for new customers and businesses, as well as developing existing customers' fire protection work.
• Assisting with other services within the Fire & Rescue area, such as service and consulting
• Conducting training within the Fire & Rescue segment

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school education with passing grades in Swedish and English
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Educational background or work experience in fire safety

Personal qualities:

• Good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others
• Accustomed to creating structure in your work and getting things done, both individually and in a group
• You are a reliable employee whom the team trusts
• Solution-oriented. Identifies problems and comes up with solutions

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
