About 400 employees work at the Swedish Courts Administration to develop and support the Swedish Courts, with the headquarters located centrally in Jönköping, and local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå. Are you passionate about security issues and find it exciting to work with investigations? Then you have the chance to apply for the position of security specialist in the unit for protection and preparedness.

What does the job entail?

The unit is responsible for leading and coordinating security work within the Swedish Courts and for leading and coordinating preparedness planning.

In this role, you will be the spider in the web of security issues, particularly concerning irregularities and corruption. Your tasks will be a mix of various investigative and coordinating duties that may vary over time. Within the role and the organization, there is room to develop work related to both security issues and matters concerning irregularities and corruption.

Your responsibilities include driving and coordinating work within the Swedish Courts Administration, within the Swedish Courts, and with other authorities regarding measures against irregularities and corruption. You will also make assessments and analyses based on various controls, as well as support work related to employee protection, including exposure analyses. If necessary, you will support the organization by conducting internal investigations and investigating suspicions of irregularities and handling police reports in cases of criminal acts.

The most important aspect of this role is your analytical ability, understanding the big picture, drawing wise conclusions, and the capability to independently drive work forward. The ability to communicate clearly is important as you will have many points of contact. Experience in conducting investigations as well as experience in coordinating and creating routines and new working methods is desirable.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least a couple of years of experience as a security specialist or internal investigator. Alternatively, you may have been a civilian employee within the Police and worked with investigations. Alternatively, you may have a background in, for example, internal auditing and wish to transition to work more focused on security and fraud issues. What is important to us is that you have experience in investigative work and are a person of integrity and sensitivity, and that you truly enjoy an analytical and pragmatic working style.

Fundamentally, you have a relevant higher education or police education or training and work experience deemed equivalent.

The employment is permanent with the place of work in Jönköping. A probationary period may apply.

Remote work up to two days a week can be agreed upon, this will be determined in dialogue with your immediate supervisor.

Travel and overnight stays in service may occur.

The position requires a security clearance before a decision on employment is made. This means that a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted. You will receive more information about this at a later stage.

The employment means that you will be placed in a war position at the authority.
