We are looking for an engaged wood and metal crafts teacher who wants to work with students in grades 3–9 at a pleasant and welcoming school in Gustavsberg.

About the job

You will work as a teacher in wood and metal crafts for students in grades 3–9. The school is a calm and well-liked F–9 school located in pleasant and functional premises with easy access to nature.

General planning is provided, but you may need to do some independent planning. The assignment starts in August and runs throughout the school year, with the possibility of extension. The position is approximately 80% and the working hours are Monday to Friday.

Job Description

As a teacher in wood and metal crafts, you will:

• Conduct and follow up on teaching. Finished materials and support are available at the school.
• Contribute to a safe learning environment where students feel seen and motivated.
• Work in close dialogue with colleagues and school management.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in teaching or other work with children and young people.
• Experience in wood and metal crafts or equivalent experience in, for example, the construction industry.
• Good teamwork skills and a professional attitude towards your work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You need to be flexible, clear, and confident in your leadership role.
