Job Description

We are now looking for a PE teacher for a temporary position during the autumn term of 2026, with the possibility of extension.

The position is a temporary role at 80% with start date Autumn Term 2026, with the possibility of extension. A probationary period applies for the first 6 months.

You will be part of a work team consisting of special needs educators, special education teachers, and subject teachers. You will need to work in teams around specific students but also independently when required.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for students in their lifelong learning. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You work in teams with teaching colleagues and support educators. Our mission is to jointly lead and support students in their social and academic development. In the team, educators help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day. Mentoring a class is included in the position.

Who are you?

You have a Swedish teacher qualification for PE for grades 4-9 and a Swedish teaching license. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement curriculum goals in your work. You have clear leadership skills and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and reflective educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is obvious to you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive and cooperative and ready to join an international team.

In your role, you teach in Swedish, but between colleagues, we primarily speak English, but also Swedish. This means you need to master both languages fluently, both in speech and writing.
