Welcome to us

Knutby School in Rinkeby is a safe school where we have high expectations that our students will do their best based on their prerequisites. We focus primarily on our students' knowledge development in Swedish and mathematics.

Knutby School is mainly two-parallel in grades F-6, with a little over 300 students. We have experienced staff with many different competencies. The classes have approximately 23 students, and you will work closely with experienced colleagues, partly together with them in a two-teacher system.

Your role

• Teaching in Swedish/Swedish as a second language and Science/Technology (NO/Tk) in grade 6.
• Two-teacher system for a large part of the time in Swedish/Swedish as a second language and mathematics, where you teach, plan, and assess together.
• Homeroom teacher (mentor) for a class.
• Additional study time.

The position is a parental leave substitute position during the school year 2026/2027.

Your qualifications and experience

• Licensed teacher with eligibility in Swedish as a second language/Swedish, mathematics, and Science/Technology (NO/Tk) in grades 4–6.
• Clear leadership with a focus on relational leadership.
• High-level Swedish language skills so you can be a role model for the students.
• Experience and knowledge of language-developing working methods and how they can permeate the teaching.
• Education in NTA (Nature, Technology, and Society) is an advantage.
