Built in 1946, Abrahamsberg School is a municipal F-9 school in Bromma with approximately 600 students. We who work at the school strive to create the best study environment possible to provide a solid knowledge foundation for when students move on to upper secondary school. Thanks to experienced and well-educated teachers, motivated students, and guardians with high expectations, Abrahamsberg School is a school with high academic results and a place to thrive. Our vision is to be one of Stockholm's best schools in developing our students based on their individual prerequisites. The school's motto is Safety and Knowledge. From the autumn term of 2026, the school will be located in St Jacob's premises in Vällingby as the school building will undergo renovation for two years.

Your role

We are looking for a teacher who will join one of our well-functioning work teams this autumn. Since we work with smooth transitions, you must have broad qualifications covering all theoretical subjects for grades F-6, as teachers may work across stages. We work with an inclusive approach where all students should feel welcome in the classroom. By giving all students the right prerequisites, you create safety and a conducive learning environment in the classroom.

You are part of a work team where you collaborate with colleagues and are a key part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge.

As a teacher, you are key to the school's values-based work, while also being responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, and assessment of students' knowledge.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. In recent years, we have focused on students' reading development and work based on the WENDICK model.

You who apply:

• are a certified teacher with broad qualifications (qualified in theoretical subjects) for grades F-6
• are trained and have experience with WENDICK
• have experience with digital working methods as an enhancement in teaching

You are a secure, stable, and clear leader in the classroom. You place great importance on values-based work to create good prerequisites and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created.

It is an advantage if you are certified and accustomed to working based on the CPS and PAX models.
