About the Principal's Area

The Eastern Principal's Area, which includes Sjötorp School, Mörtvik School, and Eastern Primary School, is now looking for a special needs teacher for grades F-6. Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher, your main task is to work with knowledge and skills for students with a need for special support. Based on your role as a special needs teacher, you create, together with dedicated staff, a favorable pedagogical environment—a learning environment where everyone can thrive and develop. You will assist with pedagogical assessments, development plans, and action plans. Your duties include contact with guardians as well as authorities and institutions. The role includes special responsibility for teaching and development in our special education group. You are involved in handover and follow-up during transitions between school activities and are part of the student health team. A key part of the job is to identify development needs and drive the development towards the school's common goals.

About You

You are a trained and licensed special needs teacher with documented experience in student health work, special support with a focus on ADHD/Autism (NPF), and special education groups. You possess broad subject competence and have good collaboration skills, always keeping the children's best interests in mind. Please attach your teaching license with the qualification list to your application.

You have a good attitude towards children and young people that aligns well with the curriculum for primary school. You are structured and organized in your work.

You possess patience and have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things. Flexibility and good collaboration skills are important in the job to create good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, work teams, the school's student health team, and school leadership. You take initiative where needs exist and have the ability to see the best interests of the entire operation. With curiosity and presence in a clear structure and with varied content adapted to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to grow and learn.

You have a good ability for analysis and reflection and constantly develop your professional role and the school's work. You see yourself as an integral part of creating good conditions for student learning. We place great value on personal suitability.
