Do you want a fun and meaningful job where you make a difference every day?

Then the position of School Substitute Teacher at Precator Pedagogerna is for you!

As a substitute teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to work at various schools throughout Stockholm – both in municipal and independent schools. This is the perfect job for you if you want to gain valuable experience, develop professionally, and make a difference in students' daily lives.

The position can lead to longer-term assignments or permanent employment with one of our partner schools.

With us, you have great flexibility and can work according to your own schedule, making this position ideal to combine with studies. It is also possible to work five days a week if you wish to work full-time.

About the role

As a school substitute, you replace permanent staff during absences, often with short notice on the same morning. Your tasks may vary from teaching according to lesson plans, acting as a resource person in the classroom, to supporting individual students. You create safety, structure, and a positive learning environment for the students, regardless of the duration of the assignment.

You may be booked for work within:

  • After-school centers (Fritidshem)

  • Pre-school class (Förskoleklass)

  • Compulsory school (Grades F–9)

At Precator, you are always personally matched to assignments that suit your skills and experience. You have a personal contact at our agency who supports you before, during, and after your work. Of course, you will receive an introduction before you start.

Qualifications and skills

We are looking for you who:

  • Have completed upper secondary education
  • Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Have the ability to lead a class in a safe and clear manner
  • Have relevant experience working with children and young people, such as involvement in sports clubs or similar youth activities
  • Wish to be a positive role model for students
  • Can work at least 3 days a week (for students, at least 1 day/week applies)
  • Are willing to work as you commit
