About Us
The Instructor Unit is located within the HR Department and brings together all of the Swedish Customs Administration's (Tullverket) instructors specializing in conflict management and driver training. Employees within the unit are stationed at various geographical locations across the country but are led nationally from the HR Department. The unit's instructors are responsible for the basic and advanced training in conflict management and driver training for the Swedish Customs Administration.
About the Position
As a National Instructor at the Instructor Unit, you will lead planned basic and advanced training courses in conflict management at the Swedish Customs Administration, together with other national instructors and instructor resources. In addition to teaching duties, you are expected to plan, coordinate, and conduct high-quality training. You will also be responsible for making approval assessments based on nationally established requirements and providing constructive feedback to course participants. As a National Instructor, you are viewed as a national resource, meaning training assignments may occur in all geographical areas of the Swedish Customs Administration, although your primary operations will be within your specific geographical region.
Are You the One We Are Looking For?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Completed the Swedish Customs Administration's internal instructor training in conflict management, or instructor training in Police Conflict Management at the Swedish Police Authority, or other training that the Swedish Customs Administration deems equivalent.
- Work experience that the employer considers relevant for the position.
- Experience as an instructor in conflict management.
- Driver's license, Class B.
The following qualifications are meritorious:
- Pedagogical education.
- Work experience in external operational activities (The Swedish Customs Administration's crime prevention activities).
