Do you want to contribute to strengthening legal security? At the National Board of Forensic Medicine (RMV), experts within forensic medicine, forensic chemistry, forensic genetics, and forensic psychiatry collaborate to provide the judicial system with the answers they need. Every detail can be crucial, and whether you work directly with analyses and investigations or in a supporting role, you contribute to a legally secure society.
We are now looking for an HR Specialist for the HR Unit, located at our headquarters in Stockholm. The unit consists of an HR Manager, a labor law specialist, a payroll specialist, a payroll administrator, and eight HR Specialists who work closely with the operations and jointly drive development within the HR field.
Your Role
As an HR Specialist, you work independently and closely with the business on strategic, operational, and administrative HR matters. You will have a broad role supporting managers in areas such as labor law, work environment, and rehabilitation, recruitment, payroll, as well as leadership and employee relations. The role also involves developing and implementing processes, as well as creating and revising steering and support documents within the HR field.
Within the unit, we support each other, which includes collaborating on development work and backing each other up within our respective areas of responsibility. We work closely with the operations, meaning close dialogue with the agency's managers and physical presence at meetings when required, sometimes at other locations.
Qualifications
- A university degree with a focus on HR or another direction that, combined with work experience, is assessed as equivalent by the employer
- Several years of current and relevant experience in broad, qualified HR work at a strategic and operational level within the public sector
- Very good knowledge of public sector labor law and public sector agreements
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
Personal qualities and skills
To succeed in the role, you need to have excellent collaboration skills, good judgment, personal maturity, and be clear in your communication.
It is also important that you have the ability to see the big picture and prioritize the best interests of the operations, as well as being a clear representative of the employer.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
The Employment
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date is by agreement.
The location is in Stockholm. The agency's units are located in different parts of Sweden, so travel is included as part of the job.
Depending on operational needs, there is an opportunity to enter into an individual agreement regarding remote work for part of the working hours.
The National Board of Forensic Medicine applies individual salary setting.
RMV is part of the judicial chain, and we have high demands on employees' judgment, security awareness, and respect for law and order. As a representative of the National Board of Forensic Medicine, you follow the public sector values and contribute through your actions to legal security, legal certainty, and trust in the agency.
In some of our recruitment processes, a background check is conducted. We apply a competency-based recruitment process where work psychological tests, knowledge tests, or work samples may occur. In connection with employment at the National Board of Forensic Medicine, there may be an obligation to be placed on the war establishment (krigsplacering).
Do you also want to contribute to a legally secure society?
We welcome your application by August 16th. Certificates and other documents are brought to the interview if applicable.
The National Board of Forensic Medicine values a recruitment process free from discrimination and strives to provide equal opportunities for all.
