Senior Accountant at Hedda

About the role

As a Senior Accountant at Hedda, you have overall responsibility for our finance function. You work both strategically and operationally to ensure high quality in our financial reporting. The position is 80%.

A central part of the role is ongoing bookkeeping, invoicing, and re-invoicing. Your task is to support, prioritize, and ensure the quality of the work in the team. We currently have one employee within accounting in the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Responsibility for monthly reporting and analysis.
• Handling supplier invoices and invoicing.
• Ensuring correct handling of VAT (our operations are largely VAT-exempt, but some VAT-taxable sales occur).
• Invoicing and re-invoicing.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is independent, detail-oriented, and pedagogical in their leadership. You have a good ability to structure processes and ensure deadlines are met with high precision.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• Experience in independently preparing accounts and financial reports.
• Good understanding of VAT regulations, preferably in businesses with mixed turnover.
• Previous experience in personnel responsibility or team leadership is highly meritorious.

It is a big plus if you have:

• Experience working in Fortnox.
• A background from the healthcare sector or similar operations, which will give you a faster start with us.
