Temporary Service Officer – Childcare, Education, Culture and Leisure

Järfälla Municipality's Service Center has been in operation since 2010 and serves as the citizens' first point of contact with the municipality. We answer questions regarding all municipal areas via telephone, email, and in-person visits. Our goal? To provide the best possible service – every time.

We are now looking for a temporary staff member to cover for absent permanent employees. This may involve being contacted with short notice or with ample advance notice. A requirement is that you are available to work during the summer and Christmas holidays.

Working Hours

• September – April: 07:50–16:50 Monday–Thursday and 07:50–15:05 Friday.
• May – August: 07:50–16:05 Monday–Thursday and 07:50–15:05 Friday.

Responsibilities

As a temporary service officer in the response group "Childcare, Education, Culture and Leisure", you will be the face of the Department of Culture, Democracy and Leisure as well as the Department of Education. You will become a key person in the contact with the municipality's citizens. You do not make official decisions, but you provide qualified guidance and information.

You will answer questions regarding, for example, childcare, primary and secondary school, adult education, cultural schools, libraries, and leisure activities.

Your primary work tool is the telephone, but you will also handle inquiries via email and receive visitors in our reception area. All cases are registered in our case management system, HelpDesk.

Qualifications and Merits

Requirements:

• Upper secondary education.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Very good computer skills and ability to handle multiple systems simultaneously.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish – both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of English – both spoken and written.
• Basic understanding of municipal organization and decision-making processes.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English.
• Post-secondary education in pedagogy, social pedagogy, culture, or similar.
• Experience with the systems Edlevo, Raindance, HelpDesk, and Artvise.
• Experience working within preschools, educational activities, culture, or leisure activities.
