The role of Section Manager for the UD Registrar involves planning, following up, coordinating, and representing the operations. You are responsible for the daily operations of the unit, leading and driving development within the section's area of activity. The role as Section Manager includes personnel responsibility (approx. 12 employees), which includes holding planning, follow-up, and salary interviews, as well as creating development plans for the employees. The role also entails budget responsibility and continuously monitoring the economic outcome against the section's budget.
The section is located within the RK Information Management unit and is responsible for the Registrar operations for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. This includes, among other things, ensuring correct diarization and archiving according to current regulations and providing the ministry with support, advice, and training in matters concerning document management and information management. The section also actively works to develop and improve working methods to meet the Government Offices' need for efficient and secure information management. As Section Manager, you play a key role in driving this work forward in close collaboration with others in the unit and the agency.

Your background
We are looking for you who have a university degree in archival science and experience as a manager with direct personnel responsibility for archive and registrar operations in the public sector. You have experience working with protected information and possess very good knowledge of the legislation governing public documents, openness, and confidentiality. The role also requires experience in change management, as well as good knowledge and practical experience in handling protected information in complex organizations.
It is meritorious if you have experience working within the Government Offices and good knowledge of the Government Offices' organization, working methods, and decision-making processes.

Other
Permanent employment (with a six-month initial probationary period) and a time-limited appointment as manager. Start date by agreement. The position is classified for security, and a security check with register control will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
