Description

The Swedish Coast Guard is seeking a Working Time Planner for the Planning Section, located in Stockholm (Luma) or Gothenburg. Here, you will become part of a team currently consisting of six working time planners who work with short- and long-term personnel planning for operational activities.

The main tasks of the Planning Section are to plan, follow up, and analyze operational activities, including personnel planning, in close collaboration with managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

As a Working Time Planner, you maintain a holistic perspective and help optimize operational activities and allocate resources based on business plans, action plans, and established guidelines. You influence the internal planning process together with other stakeholders in the authority to develop and improve our working methods and routines.

You assist in creating patrol plans and duty rosters based on current laws, agreements, and guidelines, as well as requirements for competence, qualifications, and training. Holiday planning and substitute management for short- and long-term absences are also part of the role. Other tasks may occur and be distributed by the section manager.

The Swedish Coast Guard currently uses the personnel planning system Trapeze but is in the process of transitioning to a new planning system. As a Working Time Planner, you will, together with your closest colleagues, serve as support for the system towards managers and employees.

Business travel may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a secondary education.
• Experience working with working time agreements and schedule planning.
• Good computer skills.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).

Conditions

This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible, according to agreement. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period.

Employment requires Swedish citizenship, a valid driver's license for passenger cars, a drug test, and a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act.

The Swedish Coast Guard participates in foreign missions and international operations. Therefore, the employment includes an obligation to serve abroad when required for operations.

In the case of permanent employment, there is also an obligation to be mobilized in the event of war.
