The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is now looking for a Unit Manager to participate in building up the centre's operations at FRA. Your Assignment
As a Unit Manager, you work at NCSC and the Office for Operational and Technical Cyber Security. The office is responsible for operational cyber security to support society by preventing, detecting, and supporting the coordination and handling of IT incidents. The office's mandate includes producing consolidated situational pictures of antagonistic cyber threats and IT incidents, providing technical advice and support to private and public actors, and maintaining a national situational awareness.
You will belong to the Unit for Operational Cyber Security Capability, which works with strategic work, advisory services, business development, project management, and collaboration.
As a Unit Manager at NCSC, you work with leading the unit and collaborating within cyber security. Your main tasks include:
- Providing employees with the right prerequisites through access to the right tools and information
- Having overall responsibility for personnel, working environment, and budget
- Developing and motivating your employees and being responsible for competence supply and competence development
- Recruiting personnel
- Coordinating business development within the unit individually and in cooperation with other managers
You can
We are looking for you who have:
- An academic degree in fields such as political science, computer science, or other relevant areas, and/or acquired equivalent knowledge through working life.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position
- Good knowledge of cyber security and the Office package
- Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Education in Leadership and cyber security
- Previous experience from the cyber security area in a leading position
- Experience with time reporting systems and economic systems in general

More Information
The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. New premises are expected to be ready in Bergshamra within a few years. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is an approved security clearance with register check. The security clearance will be conducted in accordance with provisions in the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be placed on war footing.
