About the role
As Unit Manager within Product Leadership, you lead 15–20 employees and create the conditions for your team to deliver value in our services. You have personnel, operational, and budgetary responsibility for the unit. You report to the Section Manager and are part of the section's management group, which consists of three units.
In the role of Unit Manager, your most important task is to create the conditions for your employees, both as individuals and as a team, to work and develop in the right direction. We are an organization in growth and change, and you are a key figure in creating security and stability for the path forward. You work closely with your fellow managers, and you support and receive support from each other.
Employees in the Product Leadership unit hold leading roles in our agile network organization, such as agile roles within the SAFe framework, as well as responsibility for certain line processes (ITIL). Most employees in the unit are experienced leaders in various roles and structures within the agency.
The unit belongs to the Platform Development Section. The section is responsible for developing and creating common components shared between business areas and/or other departments. The focus is on delivering services through self-service and enabling complete CI/CD flows for the organization's products.
About you
We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in their leadership. You are collaborative and build relationships at all levels of the organization. You lead change and bring ideas on how the business and individuals can develop. In your change leadership, you are strategic and take a holistic perspective. It is natural for you to take responsibility for both your own work and the decisions made.
We are looking for someone who has:
- An academic degree in a relevant field of at least 180 ECTS credits (or 120 credits under the old system).
- Several years of current managerial experience with responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget.
- Several years of current professional experience in developing and changing operations.
- Several years of current professional experience with agile working methods in development organizations.
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
The following qualifications are meritorious for the role:
- Current professional experience with a data-driven working approach.
- Current professional experience in delivering common technical platforms.
- Current professional experience with SAFe.
- Professional experience working in a public agency.
- Current professional experience leading competencies in leading roles.
