The Culture and Leisure Administration is responsible for the municipality's cultural and leisure activities and works to create accessible, safe, and meaningful environments for residents in Botkyrka. The administration's mandate includes, among other things, libraries, cultural schools, art activities, sports, and open leisure activities. We contribute to vibrant and safe living environments and make it possible for residents of Botkyrka to develop their interests. With meaningful leisure time, people feel better, which strengthens public health.

The administrative staff includes the support functions of the administration. We work together with the rest of the organization to ensure that operations have the best possible conditions to meet citizens' needs. The administrative staff is responsible for the administration's HR, economy, communication, IT, political processes, case handling, local strategy, quality work, and follow-up. The administrative staff is also responsible for cultural heritage, cultural strategic issues, the Iron Age village of Hogslaby, association grants, creative support, events, and Botkyrka's cultural right of access.

The position and duties

We continue our development work and are looking for a manager for the economic unit, which is relatively newly established. Here, you will develop and manage the processes for the entire economic area. You need to be agile while maintaining structures. As a unit manager at the administration-wide level, you sit in the deputy director's leadership group and focus on strategic and development-oriented work within the economic area, but you are also part of developing other administration-wide processes and operations. You also lead your own unit, which consists of a controller, economic assistant, and accounting economist, two association consultants, and a local strategist.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and inspiring your employees and developing their inherent potential.
• Being responsible for the economic control process and the budget process while creating the best conditions for operations to work with economic-related issues.
• Leading, planning, and driving development work within the Culture and Leisure Administration's economic function.
• Through the local strategist, being responsible for the administration's local supply.
• Through the association consultants, contributing to Botkyrka being an association-friendly municipality with good structure and follow-up of association grants.
• Developing and creating relationships both within the administration and within the municipality.

Requirements: We are looking for you with a degree in economics with a focus on accounting, financing, or another degree with a focus relevant to the content of the position.

Furthermore, we see that:

• You have experience working with economic work at the management level.
• You are recognized as skilled at collaborating and believe that prestige is a waste of time.
• You have previously successfully led employees and are secure as a manager.
• You express yourself fluently in speech and writing in Swedish.

Meritorious: It is highly meritorious if you have experience in a politically led organization, preferably from the municipal sector. However, the most important thing is your personal suitability.
