Lärarförmedlarna is Sweden’s largest provider of substitute teachers for schools. We have agreements with numerous schools and preschools, along with a wide range of exciting assignments to choose from! We are now looking for you who want to work as a subject teacher in Physical Education for grades 7–9 during the autumn term.

How it works with Lärarförmedlarna

With Lärarförmedlarna, your working life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, full-time or part-time, frequently or occasionally. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a full term. (Want to work on shorter assignments or single days? Check out our sister company Pamoja.) You are always matched to the assignment that suits you best and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. It’s secure and reliable for both you and the school.

What the job entails

As a substitute teacher, your responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, as well as communicating with colleagues and parents/guardians.

You manage your work easily through our user-friendly app. Additionally, you always have a personal contact with our support team who assists you when needed – before, during, and after your assignments. You work securely under a collective agreement. Naturally, you will receive a thorough introduction before starting.

What you need to bring to the table?

Our clients love our staff! That’s why we are meticulous in our recruitment process.

→ You must be a qualified teacher or have other relevant education/experience.

→ You need experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.

→ You are a skilled educator who understands that the job is also about enthusiasm and inspiration.

→ You must speak and write Swedish (or English in some cases), and have a valid extract from the Swedish Criminal Record Register.

→ You should be willing to be a role model for everyone you meet. Smart, kind, and approachable – simply put :)

→ You must be available to work part-time or full-time during the autumn term.
