Ekhammarskolan is centrally located in Kungsängen, with around 700 students and 100 staff members. The school covers grades 4–9 in compulsory school, as well as two municipal joint teaching groups for grades 4–6 and 7–9.

We are looking for an engaged and experienced resource teacher (resurspedagog) who wants to make a difference for our students in grades 4–6 and join our team at Ekhammarskolan.

About the position

As a resource teacher, you work closely with students, teachers, and the student health team to create the best possible conditions for learning and development. You support students both in the classroom and in smaller groups, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pedagogical support to students in grades 4–6 during school hours.
• Support students in their knowledge development and social interaction.
• Collaborate with teachers, guardians, and the student health team.
• Participate in the planning and follow-up of support measures.
• Organize and participate in recess activities, and work in our open after-school activity "Grindslanten" after school hours.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience working as a resource teacher, teaching assistant, or similar role in a school setting is required.
• Pedagogical education.
• Strong ability to build relationships and create a sense of security for students.
• Experience working with students in need of special support is an advantage.
• You are flexible, responsible, and have a solution-oriented approach to work.
• You thrive working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.
• A genuine commitment to strengthening students' learning, self-esteem, and hope for the future.
