Do you have experience with registry services, document management, and public administration? This might be the assignment for you!

We are currently looking for an experienced registrar for Ale Municipality for an assignment with immediate start. In this role, you will become part of the municipality's centralized administrative unit, where responsibility for registry services, board processes, archives, and election administration is centralized. Together with other registrars, you will be responsible for ensuring the legally secure and efficient handling of the municipality's documents.

As a registrar, you play a key role in the operations, ensuring that incoming and created documents are registered and handled in accordance with current legislation and internal routines. You also serve as a support in matters regarding requests for public documents and their disclosure, and contribute to the development and quality assurance of the municipality's case and information management.

The role includes:

  • Registering and handling incoming and created documents for the entire municipality
  • Supporting operations in matters concerning public documents and disclosure according to the principle of public access
  • Participating in the development and quality assurance of routines within case and information management
  • Contributing to training initiatives, investigative work, and coordination of cross-administrative issues
  • Collaborating closely with other registrars and contributing to a well-functioning administrative office

This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant at Ale Municipality. The assignment starts immediately and covers full-time employment for at least 3 months. The assignment is performed primarily on-site at the client's premises.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Experience working as a registrar, preferably within the public sector
  • Good familiarity with digital document and case management systems
  • A university or college education in public administration, law, or other equivalent education or experience
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

The following are meritorious:

  • Experience from a politically governed organization
  • Experience with the case management system Evolution from Sokigo
  • Knowledge of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL) and GDPR

As a person, you are self-reliant, structured, and quality-conscious. You have high integrity, good collaboration skills, and thrive in a role where you switch between operational document management and development work. You have a professional attitude and contribute to good collaboration within the small work group.
