We are looking for an Ombudsman for Vision's center in Gothenburg

Vision is growing in union strength – do you want to contribute to our continued development? We are now looking for you who want to help develop Vision's operations, reach more members, and strengthen our elected representatives in the role of ombudsman.

We offer a developing and meaningful job where you get to use your strengths in coaching, education, communication, and union support – every day. With us, you become part of an engaged team that is passionate about providing the best possible service to members and elected representatives.

Our center in Gothenburg consists of 15 colleagues who together support approximately 33,000 members in the region. We work with modern, flexible working methods and place great emphasis on collaboration, self-leadership, and work-life balance. Main responsibilities

  • Support and develop local union work by working consultatively and coachingly towards elected representatives, boards, and clubs.
  • Conduct workplace-related activities and be responsible for networks and operational activities.
  • Work with member recruitment and organization of elected representatives.
  • Together with other colleagues, be responsible for special assignments and areas of work at the center.

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a university degree or equivalent competence in areas such as human resources, law, or similar.
  • Have experience working consultatively and coachingly with members and elected representatives.
  • Have good knowledge of labor law, working environment, and experience in negotiations.
  • Are structured, independent, and accustomed to planning and driving your own work.
  • Have very good communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach based on the recipient and context.
  • Have good digital skills and work comfortably in Office 365.
  • Have a driver's license and access to a car.

You have a strong commitment to union issues and enjoy working closely with people. You are good at building relationships, creating trust, and helping others grow. You will thrive with us if you like working in a team while taking responsibility for your own assignments. It is also important that you share Vision's values.
